Dear parents, caregivers, students and friends of the school
Tēnā koutou katoa.
Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa.
Welcome to Ōtūmoetai Intermediate School – a school that is full of the most exciting young people, committed and professional staff, and a modern and energetic curriculum. We care about making sure every learner is successful and we care about being a school that is open, warm and engaging.
We have built a curriculum that is packed with opportunity. Whether it is learning through Visual Art, Music, Health, Drama, Dance, Physical Education, Sport, Science, Technology, Digital Technology, Coding, Robotics, Reading, Humanities, Kapa Haka, Design, Culture, Te Reo Māori, Performance, Writing, Food Technology, Leadership, Mathematics, Inquiry Learning, Outdoor Education, Camping …. the list goes on and on!
At Ōtūmoetai Intermediate School, we strive for the highest aspiration for each student. Students are encouraged to reach for their best dream and we’ll work to support it! Emerging adolescents require relational warmth, trust and encouragement to flourish. Our staff are committed to making this happen.
We cater for every learner, whatever their strengths and needs. We love that our school is diverse and we are committed to celebrating every learner’s strengths and focusing on improving in areas of need.
Our school is abuzz with activity. We want every student to love the challenge of learning and be excited about the opportunities they choose to be involved in at Ōtūmoetai Intermediate School. Learning is our work!
Welcome to our school. Please come and visit us and join our school.
We’d love to see you, anytime.
Ngā mihi
